What if you don’t know what kind of editing you need?
Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. Editing has many parts and it can feel daunting to accurately name where you are in the revision process. It’s okay to ask. Do you need help just getting started or organized on your memoir? A manuscript review of your fiction to see if you’re on the right track? Coaching help with characters or dialogue? Or a copyedit for grammar and punctuation before turning in your thesis, or sending your manuscript to agents or publishers?
I can help you get started and organized, working with you to build a foundation for your own story.
Your characters need to be believable, loveable and memorable—or despicable! I’ve delved into them all with actors and playwrights in my work as a theatre director, and I can help you do the same. Or does your dialogue need to be more authentic? I have dissected the dialogue of countless plays with many actors and new playwrights and can help you find your characters' voices. I'm also trained in stage combat, so let's look at that action scene together.

My most popular service. Are you completely confused by the feedback from your beta readers or AI program? To get a second set of eyes on your manuscript, why not choose a professional who can be supportive but objective about where to focus your revisions, before sending it off to agents or self publishing?
If you’re not familiar with the kind of editing you might need, I can review a few pages of your manuscript and give you a free quote, outlining the scope and price of an edit.
